LOS ANGELES — Seeking to learn the identities and later file claims against BitTorrent users, two Porn Valley studios have filed 10 copyright infringement suits against 254 John Does within the past week.
Elegant Angel, with suits as late as yesterday, filed seven federal suits against 180 Does in Colorado and Maryland.
K-Beech Video is jumping into the porn BitTorrent litigation arena for the first time with three suits against 74 Does. Those suits also were filed in Colorado and Maryland.
One of the three suits K-Beech is waging identifies “Gang Bang Virgins” as one of the poached videos. The film was produced in 2008 by its Baby Doll Pictures label.
